Coinchange BTC Fund
A U.S. regulated, actively managed Bitcoin fund for institutional investors
The Holding Problem
The challenge isn't owning bitcoin. It's staying invested through the cycle.
You already hold bitcoin. The mandate is duration, not more directional exposure.
What we build for
- Multiple return engines, not simply more bitcoin beta
- Risk management sized to help you stay invested
- Active allocation as market conditions change
The Fund
Fund Overview
The Coinchange BTC Fund is an actively managed Bitcoin fund operated under U.S. regulation. Most regulated ways to hold bitcoin do one thing: hold it. This fund is managed to pursue a return on the bitcoin it holds, in addition to the movement of bitcoin itself.
That is what the active management is for. Coinchange selects independent managers, combines them into strategy sleeves inside a single risk budget, and monitors them daily, with authority to rotate or replace. Fund structure details are provided in the offering documents.
Manager Selection
Few managers pass.
Every candidate runs the same stages. Most never make it through.
Active management starts with who is allowed to manage. Candidates are screened stage by stage on operations, strategy and risk before any allocation is made, and the ones that pass are monitored for as long as they hold an allocation.
- 600+managers screened
- 20managers allocated

Portfolio Construction
Selection is the start. The portfolio is managed every day.
Managers are combined, not just chosen. Exposure, limits, stress tests and rotation run continuously.
Approved managers are not held side by side. They are combined into sleeves, each built for a different job: one trades spreads between spot and derivatives; one takes short-term dislocations under tight controls; one runs longer-horizon positions with wider risk parameters. The three sit inside a single risk budget, and are reweighted as conditions change rather than left fixed.
- Manager monitoring
- Risk, capacity and manager behaviour are reviewed daily.
- Exposure management
- Strategy and counterparty exposures are tracked in real time.
- Sleeve allocation
- Allocation across the sleeves moves with conditions.
- Limits and controls
- Limits are set in advance, with breach alerts and action plans.
- Stress testing
- Scenarios span market and liquidity shocks.
- Re-underwriting
- Diligence continues, with authority to rotate or replace.
Illustrative process view. Sleeve descriptions are illustrative and dynamic, and the investment manager has wide latitude to invest and trade the fund's assets under its offering documents. The lanes, their changing emphasis and the manager marks are illustrative — not holdings, not weights, not a record of any allocation or replacement, and not a description of how the fund responds to any market condition.
Coverage
Two fund structures
Coinchange operates regulated fund products in the United States and Gibraltar through affiliated entities. Which structure serves an institution follows from where it is domiciled and how it is constituted.
United States
The U.S. fund is available to U.S. institutional clients.
Gibraltar
The Gibraltar fund is available to non-U.S. institutional clients, and to U.S. tax-deferred and tax-exempt structures such as retirement plans, endowments, foundations and charitable trusts. The Gibraltar structure is commonly used by institutions that hold their assets in tax-deferred or tax-exempt form. Eligibility and treatment are matters for each institution and its own advisers.
Coinchange products are not available in every jurisdiction, and eligibility is confirmed during onboarding. Fund interests are offered only to eligible investors by means of the relevant fund's offering documents.

Partner Solutions
RIAs can offer the fund to eligible clients through leading RIA platforms, with allocation, simulation, and reporting integrated into existing advisor workflows.
Platforms can embed access to the fund under their own brand through our white-label integration. Our team supports scoping, onboarding, and launch.
Partners already reach the fund programmatically: GlobalStake routes institutional clients into the U.S. fund by API, and Kanga Exchange reaches the Gibraltar fund the same way.
The Coinchange Earn API supports integration of the fund into partner websites and apps, including client onboarding and reporting.
